NEET UG counselling 2025: MCC extends round 1 choice filling deadline again, check official notice here

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the deadline for choice filling and locking in the first round of NEET UG 2025 counselling. Due to technical problems on the MCC website, candidates got extra time until August 7, 2025, at 1:30 PM to select their preferred medical and dental colleges. This extension helped many students complete their choices without any stress. After the deadline, MCC started processing the seat allotments. The results for the first round of seat allotment will be announced on August 11, 2025.
Extension of choice filling deadline
The original deadline to fill and lock choices was extended because some candidates faced website problems. MCC gave students time until August 7, 2025, at 1:30 PM to complete their choice filling. This extra time made sure that no one missed the chance to pick their colleges due to technical issues.Students can read the official MCC notice here.
