NEW DELHI: Popular Bollywood actor Huma Qureshi’s cousin was killed in Delhi’s Nizamuddin area on Thursday night after what police say began as a dispute over a parked scooter.Read also: Huma Qureshi’s cousin murdered in Delhi over parking dispute; 2 arrestedSpeaking to reporters, Saleem Qureshi, father of Huma Qureshi, described the moment the altercation began. “Two men parked a scooter in front of the house. Asif asked them to move it aside and not block the entrance,” he said. “This led to a verbal altercation that turned physical. They were two, together they killed my nephew.” The victim, 38-year-old Asif Qureshi was attacked near the Jangpura Bhogal market lane at about 11.00pm. He was taken to hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.The arrestsPolice have arrested two brothers, identified as Gautam and Ujjwal, in connection with the case. Officers say that Ujjwal initiated the attack.
Accused in huma Qureshi cousin murder case
Asif’s family claim he was attacked with a sharp object. According to Delhi police, there had been earlier arguments between Asif and the accused over parking.A case of murder has been registered and the investigation is ongoing.
