What is the viral ‘Kiss Cam’ controversy

During the recent Coldplay concert in Boston a ‘Kiss Cam’ moment involving Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and HR chief Kristin Cabot went viral. The couple after being captured by the camera looked startled, with Cabot turning away and Byron ducking. Coldplay frontman Chris Martin also said jokingly, “Either they’re having an affair, or they’re just very shy.” The clip soon went viral and garnered millions of views.Days after the controversy, Astronomer then CEO Andy Byron resigned from his position and earlier this week Cabot also stepped down from her position of company’s HR head.
