In a post shared by the club’s official X handle, the India batter was seen touring the club museum, admiring the Ballon d’Or trophies and other accolades on display. He also posed with a personalized Barcelona jersey featuring his name and the number 96, smiling in front of the iconic club logo. The club thanked him for his visit, while also adding, “Once a culer, always a culer .” Following the IPL season, Iyer featured for SoBo Mumbai Falcons before taking a break. A month ago, he was spotted in Kazakhstan, with photos from the trip circulating online. While the Indian Test team continues their five-match series in England, Iyer’s omission from the squad stood out—especially with vacancies in the middle order after the retirements of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.
