THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Amid uncertainty over Shashi Tharoor‘s relationship with Congress, senior functionary in Kerala K Muraleedharan has said the party had decided to keep the Thiruvananthapuram MP away from its functions in the state capital. Tharoor has been the Thiruvananthapuram MP since 2009.“It is up to the party high command to decide whether to take action against him or not. But we have decided that he should be kept away from all party functions in Thiruvananthapuram,” said Muraleedharan. In response, Tharoor said he had “nothing to comment”.Congress brass in Kerala has been distancing itself from Tharoor since he started defying the AICC. He was not even invited to campaign for last month’s Nilambur bypoll. TNN
