LUCKNOW: A landlord in Lucknow was accused of installing a hidden camera in the bathroom of a woman tenant, connecting it to Wi-Fi and watching her live. The incident came to light when the woman found the camera and confronted him.The woman alleged that on being confronted, the landlord attempted to rape her and she had to lock herself in the room. She also accused him of threatening to kill her family if she reported the incident. Dubagga police registered FIR.The woman from Bahraich claimed that on Jun 24, she noticed the hidden camera in the bathroom and that it was connected to Wi-Fi. As she removed the camera, the landlord appeared and first apologised, but when she threatened to report to police, he attempted to rape her and threatened to rape her sister and kill her mother too, said Inspector Abhinav Verma.
