KULLU: Three more bodies were recovered from cloudburst-hit areas of Himachal’s Mandi district Thursday, taking the toll to 14. Thirty-one people are still missing after a series of flashfloods hit the district in the early hours of Tuesday. The casualty numbers could rise, said Mandi DC Apoorv Devgan. Drones have been deployed in the search operation in Syanj area, which was hit by a cloudburst. Over 250 roads, including the key Manali-Leh and Mandi-Pathankot highways, remain blocked across Himachal. Power and water supply lie disrupted in many parts of the state. Seven bodies have been found in Gohar subdivision, five in Thunag and two in Karsog. Rescue ops by NDRF and SDRF continued for a third day Thursday. The state administration has set up six relief camps in the district and 357 people have been shifted there.
