NEW DELHI: A recent incident at Pune airport showed disgruntled passengers confronting a SpiceJet staff member over concerns about meal quality following a flight delay. The footage showed passengers insisting the ground staff consume the same food they received. The staff member is seen taking a bite whilst surrounded by the group. The recording, which surfaced on social media platform X through the account Woke Eminent, gained significant attention.The footage sparked diverse responses from social media users after it went viral.Whilst some sympathised with the travellers’ frustration, others commended the employee’s calm demeanour and criticised the passengers’ confrontational approach. “Staff is not responsible for the delay, so please show them some respect,” noted one viewer. “Salute to this staff, he was so humble,” stated another. “What is this sort of aggressive mob behaviour? Are you suggesting targeting one chap from the airline like this is acceptable conduct?” questioned a third observer.Additional comments included: “I salute that staff – so much patience. May God give him the best job; he deserves it.” Another supporter wrote, “Please ban these people… don’t harass the manager.”
