Power cut, candlelight, giant-killing: 8-year-old stuns World No. 7 Keymer
Despite a power outage and darkness, eight-year-old chess prodigy Tamizh Amudhan competed in the Freestyle Friday online championship from his home in Thiruthangal. Using a candle and mobile torch, he even managed to defeat World No. 7 Vincent Keymer before his laptop battery died.
