Bengaluru rains: 7 dead after hospital compound wall collapses
Tragedy struck Bengaluru as a compound wall collapse near Bowring Hospital claimed seven lives, including three children. Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah visited the site and confirmed the fatalities, announcing Rs 5 lakh compensation for the bereaved families. Deputy Chief Minister D. K. Shivakumar also rushed to the scene to assess the situation and offer assistance.
