Air India plane crash: Railways runs two special trains | India News

Western Railway ran two superfast special trains from Ahmedabad to Delhi and Mumbai Thursday to ease passenger traffic after the Air India plane crashed shortly after taking off from Sardar Vallabhbhai International Airport earlier in the day.Railway ministry officials said a train departed from Ahmedabad on Thursday night and will reach Delhi Junction at 2.45 pm on Friday (today). The train will then depart on a return trip to Ahmedabad from Delhi on Friday and will reach its destination on Saturday.The other train departed to Mumbai from Ahmedabad on Thursday night and is to reach its destination Friday morning. It will return to Ahmedabad from Mumbai on Friday night.Western Railway also dispatched its disaster management team, along with medical personnel and RPF staff, to assist the Gujarat govt in relief and rescue efforts.
