Gujarat government invites applications for 90 Staff Nurse (Ayurveda) positions under AYUSH GSSSB Staff Nurse Ayurveda 2026: The Gujarat Gaun Seva Pasandgi Mandal (GSSSB) has announced that the online application process for the recruitment of Staff Nurse (Ayurveda), Class-3, is closing soon. Candidates seeking a career under the Director of AYUSH, Health and Family Welfare Department, are advised to complete their applications before the final date. The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 90 vacancies for qualified Ayurvedic nursing professionals.The candidates have to possess a Diploma of Ayurvedic Nursing from Gujarat Ayurvedic Nursing Faculty and should be registered under Gujarat Board of Ayurvedic & Unani System Medicine at the time of applying for the exam. Applicants must have basic knowledge of computers and good knowledge of Gujarati/Hindi language(s).Eligibility criteria and age limitCandidates have to be Indians or residents of India as per the rules of Gujarat Civil Services. Age criteria for the candidates appearing for the recruitment process on April 13, 2026, are 18-45 years. Age relaxation can be availed by candidates belonging to SC, ST, SEBC, EWS, females, and ex-servicemen as per government policies.How to applyCandidates need to log in to the OJAS website through ojas.gujarat.gov.in and click on the advertisement number 377/202526 of GSSSB. Candidates need to provide their information online in the form. The fee can be paid using online mode only and one must keep the payment receipt handy. The last date of the fee deposit is April 16, 2026.Pay scale and other conditionsThe selected candidates shall get a monthly fixed salary of Rs 40,800 for five years. On successful completion of five years, their pay scale will be revised to Rs 29,300 (Level-5) as per Gujarat government guidelines.Selection method and question paper patternThe selection process will comprise two stages. The first section is of 90 marks comprising questions from reasoning, quantitative aptitude, Constitution of India, general awareness, and computer knowledge. The second part is of 120 marks covering technical questions related to Ayurveda and general nursing. One needs to score at least 40 percent in both parts along with 0.25 negative marking.
