J&K property of Pakistan-settled terrorist seized | India News

JAMMU: The property of a terrorist, presently settled in Pakistan, was attached in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district on Wednesday. The police have also issued a proclamation notice against three ‘anti-nationals’ wanted in a 2009 case registered under the Enemy Agents Ordinance Act in Doda.Mohd Saleem, whose agricultural land was seized, is involved in a police case in Banihal. He absconded to Pakistan to escape legal proceedings, police said. “The court ordered attachment of his property after declaring him a proclaimed offender,” an officer said.“The action marks a significant milestone in the ongoing investigation into unlawful and subversive activities in the region,” the officer said. Police, in collaboration with other agencies, remain resolute in their mission to take stringent measures against those involved in activities threatening the sovereignty and integrity of the nation, the officer added.Meanwhile, proclamation notice was issued against Mohd Shafi, Shams Din and Farooq Ahmad of Manjmi Bhagwah village in Doda district.
