RBSE Class 10 result 2026: Rechecking, re-exam process explained; check how to apply

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) officially released the Class 10 Result 2026 yesterday, March 24, 2026, around 1 PM. The results were made live on the board’s official websites: rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in and rajresults.nic.in. Around 6.08 lakh students had registered for the exam, which was conducted from February 21 to February 28, 2026. This year, the overall pass percentage stood at 94.23%, slightly higher than last year’s 93.06%.Now, the board has also issued detailed guidelines for students who are not satisfied with their marks and wish to apply for scrutiny, obtain answer sheet copies, or go for re-examination in selected subjects.Scrutiny: What it meansRBSE has clarified that scrutiny does not mean full re-evaluation of answers. Instead, it only includes checking for:Errors in total marks calculationMissing marks for any questionMistakes in transferring marksNo fresh checking of answers is done under scrutiny.New option this year: Re-examinationFrom this year, RBSE has introduced a re-examination option for specific subjects:EnglishScienceMathematicsStudents can apply for re-checking first and then request re-examination in these subjects if needed.How to applyStudents can apply online through the RBSE official website or via e-Mitra centers. Applications must be submitted within:7 days of result declaration with normal feeAdditional 3 days with late feeOffline applications will not be accepted under any circumstances.Application feesScrutiny fee: ₹400 per subjectLate fee: ₹800 per subjectObjection fee: ₹100 per subjectRe-examination fee: ₹100 per questionImportant rules students must knowStudents can apply for scrutiny only onceMarks may increase or decrease after checkingFees will not be refunded in any caseStudents must upload a valid ID (Aadhaar card, voter ID, etc.) while applyingCorrect mobile number and email ID are important to receive updatesAnswer sheet accessAfter applying, students will receive login details via SMS or email. Changes happen only in a small number of cases, and decisions taken by the board after rechecking or re-examination will be final.Students are also advised to continue with their next academic steps instead of waiting for revised results.
