UP Police Home Guard recruitment 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has already declared a mass scale recruitment drive of Home Guard volunteers in Uttar Pradesh. The eligibility of the applicants is 18 years and not exceeding 30 years on July 1, 2025, allowing age relaxations according to the government-laid requirements on the reserved categories. This requires a minimum educational requirement of a Class 10 pass certificate from a recognised board.The codification of strict disqualifications is the official notification: individuals who have criminal proceedings ongoing, individuals who serve in regular government or semi-government services, individuals who have been dismissed from government service, physically or mentally handicapped people, and those persons who have more than one living spouse will be outright rejected.
