DDA postpones Stage II and III exams for 1732 JSA, Steno and Jr. Translator posts; check official notice here
The Delhi Development Authority has postponed the Stage II and Stage III exams for certain posts in its ongoing recruitment process. The news of the postponement came through an official notice issued by the Recruitment Cell under Advertisement No. 09/2025/Rectt. Cell/Pers./DDA.The Skill Test, Typing Test, and Descriptive Test for the posts of Junior Translator (Official Language), Stenographer Grade-D, and Junior Secretariat Assistant were scheduled for February 24 and February 25, 2026. However, the authority has postponed the exams for the said posts until further notice.Notice issued by Recruitment CellIn its notice issued on February 20, 2026, the Recruitment Cell mentioned that it had issued a notice on February 13, 2026, which mentioned the schedule for Stage II and Stage III exams for the said posts.The notice has been inked by the Deputy Director of the Recruitment Cell. The candidates have been asked to keep themselves updated on the official website, dda.gov.in, for the latest updates on the new schedule and instructions.Recruitment drive for 1732 postsThe postponement is a part of the larger recruitment drive by the DDA Recruitment 2025-26 for 1,732 posts of various recruitment notifications such as MTS, JSA, Patwari, JE, and Steno, among others. The recruitment notification was published on September 12, 2025.Online applications were invited from October 6, 2025, to November 5, 2025. The last date for payment of fees was November 7, 2025, and candidates were allowed to print their application forms until November 28, 2025. The application portal was reopened only for the purpose of viewing and downloading the submitted forms until then.

The Stage II written test for various posts that was scheduled between February 24 to February 25, 2026, has also been postponed.The recruitment process for the recruitment drive includes a written test, skill test as per the requirement for the post, document verification, and a medical test. The age limit is different for various posts, and the cut-off date for calculation is fixed as November 5, 2025. The application fee is different for General, OBC, and EWS categories, and for SC, ST, PWD, ESM, and female applicants.
