JEE Main Session 1 result 2026: How many students secured a perfect 100 score last year?
The National Testing Agency will release the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) results on the official website soon, jeemain.nta.nic. According to the official notice, the results are to be released on February 16, 2026. The final answer keys have been released on the official website. Last year, the NTA JEE Main results were released on February 11, 2026. JEE Main 2026 session 1 was held between January 21 and January 29, 2026, across 10 shifts. Paper 2 for BArch and BPlanning candidates took place on January 29. Around 13.5 lakh students had registered for the examination, and more than 13 lakh ultimately appeared.Last year, approximately 14 students achieved the flawless NTA score of 100 in JEE Main 2025 session 1 (Paper 1- B.E/B.Tech). Out of 13,11,544 registered candidates, 12,58,136 appeared, having a 95.93% of attendance rate.
Rajasthan led the tally
State-wise data revealed that Rajasthan produced the highest number of 100th percentile scorers. Five candidates from the state, Ayush Singhal, Rajit Gupta, Saksham Jindal, Om Prakash Behera, and Arnav Singh, secured the top NTA score.Other perfect scorers hailed from Delhi (NCT), Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana, reflecting the geographically diverse talent pool competing in the national-level examination.
JEE Main 2025 Session 1 was conducted across 618 centres in 304 cities, including 15 cities outside India, among them Dubai, Singapore, Washington, Munich, and Doha. The examination was offered in 13 languages, widening accessibility and reinforcing its status as one of the largest entrance tests globally.
