Zomato‘s Parent company Eternal’s CEO Deepinder Goyal announced on Wednesday that he is stepping down from his role, subject to shareholder approval. He will remain on the board as vice chairman and named Albinder Dhindsa, the founder and CEO of Blinkit, as his successor. The move marks a significant leadership transition for the food delivery giant.Who is Albinder Dhindsa?Albinder Dhindsa (Albi) is the founder and CEO of Blinkit, where he leads product development, and oversees overall strategy. Before founding Blinkit in 2013 alongside Saurabh, Albinder worked as head of international expansion at Zomato, spearheading the company’s global growth initiatives.An IIT Delhi graduate with a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering, Albinder also holds an MBA from Columbia University, New York. Additionally, for hobbies according to Blinkit website, he enjoys basketball, listening to French music.
