KCET 2026: KEA revises registration and exam dates; check new schedule here
KCET 2026: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has revised the schedule for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026. According to the application portal, the UGCET 2026 application process started on January 17, 2026.Eligible candidates can now fill out the KCET 2026 application form online through the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. The last date to submit the application form has been extended to February 17, 2026.Along with revising the registration dates, KEA has also removed the previously announced exam dates from its official website. Candidates are advised to wait for the updated examination schedule.
KCET 2026 registration: What has changed
According to the latest notice issued by KEA:
- KCET 2026 application form has opened on January 17, 2026
- Last date to apply has been revised to February 17, 2026
- Earlier exam dates have been removed from the website
- Revised exam date, admit card date, and result date will be announced soon
As per the earlier schedule, KCET 2026 was expected to be held on May 25 and 26, with the admit card release on May 1 and results on June 30. However, these dates are no longer valid.

The Karnataka Undergraduate Common Entrance Test (UGCET) 2026 is conducted for admission to various undergraduate courses offered by colleges in Karnataka. These include:

KCET 2026 application fee
The application fee for KCET 2026 varies based on category:
- Karnataka candidates from General Merit (GM), 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B categories: ₹500
- Karnataka candidates from Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Category 1: ₹250
- Candidates who studied outside Karnataka: ₹750
- Candidates applying from outside India: ₹5,000
