$500,000 date night: MrBeast books entire Disneyland theme park for his fiancée
The most-subscribed YouTuber, MrBeast, has reportedly paid $500,000 (nearly Rs 42 lakhs) to rent out an entire Disneyland theme park for a “romantic date” with his fiancée. This large-scale purchase was shown in a new YouTube video. In the video, Jimmy Donaldson (aka MrBeast), takes his fiancée Thea Booysen on a series of six dates ranging in cost from $1 up to the $500,000 Disneyland experience. The video concludes with the couple, along with a few friends and crew, having the theme park to themselves for an evening. During their private access, the group rode attractions such as Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Pixar Pal-A-Round, a 150-foot-tall Ferris wheel. They also played several carnival-style games and built custom lightsabers at Savi’s Workshop in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

In the 17-minute video, Donaldson can be seen saying: “There are no words to describe how special it is to have Disney all to ourselves. I think we all made memories that are going to last a lifetime.”It’s also important to note that the YouTuber is not the only one who booked an entire Disneyland theme park. In 1992, actress Elizabeth Taylor celebrated her 60th birthday by renting out all of Disneyland. The park was completely closed for the event, which required heightened security. Hundreds of celebrities were in attendance, and the celebration turned out to be an effective promotional move for Disney.Meanwhile, Disney has yet to share an official comment regarding MrBeast’s video and whether individuals can rent an entire theme park. However, several Disney-focused blogs, including Magic Guides, state that such an arrangement isn’t feasible.“Closing down the resort for a day would be a public relations nightmare and would severely disrupt how guests could plan and book their trips,” wrote Joshua Powell of Magic Guides.While Disneyland does not shut down entirely for private events, it does offer select after-hours and private experiences. These include Disney After Hours, where guests can buy tickets for an additional three hours pasta the usual closing time. Additionally, Disney’s Fair Tale Weddings & Honeymoons allows couples and their families to rent specific venues like The Sleeping Beauty Castle Forecourt and Small World Mall.
