11-year-old Indian-origin Bodhana becomes England No. 1
Indian-origin chess talent Bodhana Sivanandan, 11, is now England’s top-rated female chess player with a 2366 FIDE rating, surpassing Lan Yao. She began during lockdown, now ranks 72nd globally, and is a Woman International Master. She beat Mariya Muzychuk and earned praise from former UK Prime Minister and chess officials.
